The company Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar started drilling well №13 at the Vostochno-Pribrezhnoye field in the Slavyansky region of Krasnodar Territory.
The new well will be 3362 meters deep and will be used for gas, gas condensate and oil production.
Construction is underway in difficult geological conditions using controlled-directional method. According to the project, bottom hole will be in 1007 km from the well mouth. As a result of drilling experts plan to achieve commercial oil flow of productive horizon - the seventh unit of Chokrak deposits.
The company plans to complete the construction work by May 2015.
Mikhail Geikhman, Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar's Director General concluded: "Drilling of well №13 is the final stage in the development of the Vostochno-Pribrezhnoye oil, gas and condensate field. Due to its construction the field's well network will be optimized, and hydrocarbon production will be stabilized. "
