On January 29, in Krasnodar, took place an ecological forum "New Standards, Technologies and Projects", dedicated to solving the most pressing environmental issues, demonstration the achievements of modern technologies and environmental projects introduction.
The Forum gathered about two hundred experts in the field of environmental protection from several regions of Russia. JSC "Gazprom" companies, such as "Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar", "Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar", and "Gazprom Invest" presented their experience in dealing with environmental issues. The forum also was attended by specialists of South Stream Transport, which is constructing a gas pipeline "South Stream".
In his speech, Deputy General Director of LLC "Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar", Andrei Vetoshkin, spoke about the commissioning of the compressor station "Kubanskaya" and upgrading of gas preparing installation to transport at the station "Krasnodarskaya":
"Both facilities are the most advanced in terms of ecology and engineering. Certainly, it is a contribution to the economy and ecology of Kuban".
Forum Moderator, Chairman of the Krasnodar regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society, Ivan Chaika, spoke about cooperation with "Gazprom" enterprises:
"Last year, gas workers decided to conduct their own independent monitoring of subsea gas pipeline "Dzhubga - Lazarevskoye - Sochi". We went out to sea and independently chosen point for diving, where divers took water and soil samples in pipe situ".
At the end of the event, known TV host, Nikolai Drozdov, gave corporate association "Gazprom na Kubani" diploma and honors for projects aimed to preserve the environment and for long-term work on the formation of ecological culture.
